"Think of it as being by baby's side, 24/7."
Suitable for use even with premature babies.
There's no peace of mind like that offered with the Pneo Snuza Halo. This product works with your baby monitor to keep you and your child alert and safe. Simply attaches to a diaper at the child's abdomen and vibrates if a child stops breeathing for more than 15 seconds. If this does not start the child breathing, an audible alarm is sounded so that the caretaker and the child are alerted and called to safety.
•Snuza safely and conveniently monitors your babys every movement.
•Clip the Snuza onto the waistband of your babys diaper.
•The flexible sensor detects your babys tummy movement.
•A built-in vibrating stimulator on the Halo model gently rouses baby
15 seconds after movement stops.
•If there is still no movement after 20 seconds, an alarm will sound to alert you to take immediate action.
•Snuza can be used in conjunction with a baby sound or video monitor so that it can be heard in another room.
•Snuza monitors are particularly useful for co-sleeping twins and multiples, where an under-mattress monitor is not effective.
•Snuza is the only type of movement monitor that can be used if baby is
sleeping in your bed.
Operating Tips:
Clothing
•Snuza can also be clipped onto the waistband of elasticated pants, as long as the sensor maintains contact with the baby in the tummy area.
•There may also be a thin layer of clothing (eg a vest) between the Sensor and the skin, but ensure that the sensor maintains contact.
•The monitor can also be used if baby is dressed in light clothing (for example, a Babygro) over the nappy or pants to which the Snuza is attached.
•Too much clothing may attenuate or muffle the alarm.
•Make sure the alarm can be heard if baby is covered in clothing and/or blankets.
